Located in Baner, Pune, the home is designed around integrated green pockets and an urban farm, allowing vegetation to become an active part of the spatial experience. Planned for a retired government officer seeking serenity and flexibility, the lower floors are designed to adapt to changing users while maintaining a private living realm above.
The architecture responds sensitively to climate and site conditions through natural ventilation, passive daylighting, and a carefully developed rainwater management strategy for the flood-prone terrain. Earthy material palettes and understated detailing create a warm, grounded atmosphere, reflecting SAT Design Studio’s approach to sustainable residential design — where environmental responsibility and personal comfort come together seamlessly.
